• The strategy and change team manages projects for the MSS Ops function from inception to business adoption. In this role you will need to work with senior stakeholders from multiple Business, IT, and Change mgt areas to define scope, requirements, solution and milestones, be accountable for end to end delivery of large global change projects, and manage project governance to ensure the relevant stakeholders are able to provide the appropriate steer to resolve risks and issues and ratify project decisions. 

The Opportunity:

• The candidate will perform a key Change BA/PM role in the definition, implementation and operational delivery of a number of regulatory requirements for the Margin Requirements for Uncleared Derivatives (MRUD) process. There are two priority items that the MRUD process involves – SIMM Initial margin calculation and Ongoing model validation of the SIMM model.

What you’ll do:

• To lead the definition of detailed project delivery scope and approach for the aforementioned work streams plus other model validation exercise that come into the scope of the project.
• To facilitate work-shops with business stakeholders to identify detailed requirements. This includes working closely with quantitative risk SMEs to provide expert advice and guidance on creating those requirements in the first instance and prioritising them (not purely a delivery role).
• To lead and manage the creation of the functional and business requirements documentation (BRD) needed for the project.
• Manage Project scope, RAIDs, milestones and run governance forums with senior stakeholders to monitor these

What you will need to succeed in the role:

• Over 10 years’ experience in risk, either in an investment bank or clearing house.
• FRM / CFA.
• Strong domain knowledge of Risk and Risk Framework.
• Strong knowledge of uncleared OTC derivatives.
• Very good understanding of the regulatory background including, IMM, uncleared margin, and collateral management
• Strong understanding of risk data and E2E data flows combined with strong data analysis skills
• Excellent project documentation skills and good experience with project delivery and test governance process.
• Evidence of covering the full project lifecycle from inception through to system delivery with IT and process embedding with the sponsoring business function.
• Strong stakeholder management skills- 
• Ability to collaborate with business and technology teams to understand requirements and share with the technical team
• Strong Agile Business Analysis and project management capabilities

What additional skills will be good to have?

• Define, document and analyse business process flows and impact on technology flows.
• Strong knowledge of quantitative models including, Market risk models and the ISDA SIMM.
• Experience of managing projects and leading governance forums
