The CIB analytics China team play the decision partner role to support regional and global wholesale banking business success on revenue growth, fraud prevention, operation efficiency improvement via business analytics, data science & data government.      

The Opportunity:  

This business analytics position will support HBCN market on CIB business Insights, Sales and Marketing, Risk Management and Data Enhancement.

What you’ll do:     

• Business Insights:  Help on comprehensive business insight covering marketing strategy planning, executive management pack automation and streamlining, pre-analysis from data & analytics prospective for critical business initiatives etc.
• Sales and Marketing: Develop analytics framework for prospect / customer target identification, wallet share analysis, propensity modeling, and overall campaign management.
• Risk Management: Identify fraud case or associated pattern in data – to assure sales quality and prioritization. 
• Data Enhancement: Support data related projects, e.g. data enrichment for both internal / external data source, data quality governance, big data exploration.

What you will need to succeed in the role:       

• 7+ years business analytics experience with proven records.
• University degree in Applied Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics or any other quantitative related discipline.
• Possess strong skills in data analytical tools such as SAS and Python.
• Knowledge and experience in AI, big data, machine learning or predictive algorithms, statistics modelling and data mining.
• Interested in staying up to date on the latest analytics and big data technologies.
• Possess good business sense of their application in the wholesale banking business.
• Attention to details, with good story telling and presentation skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

What additional skills will be good to have?     

• Business management expert / Business analytics expert of Banking , Hi-Tech, Internet Gaint, Unicore.
• Technical expert on BI and Data science.
