Where will you be working?

  • This role is part of the Global HR Consulting team, which facilitates the shape, delivery, and execution of the people outcomes for the below entities on behalf of the HR function. As an HR Consultant you will be accountable for facilitating the shape, delivery, automation and execution of HR projects and initiatives that support the global International Wealth and Personal Banking business strategy. You will work closely with HR Business Partners, Consultants, Business leaders, HR Advisors and specialists to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions. 

The Opportunity:

  • The role holder will be the primary enablers for driving the effective execution and delivery of the various HR multi-disciplinary projects/programs supporting different function/business(s) to achieve people outcomes.
  • As a Global HR Consultant, you will work closely with key stakeholders including –  
  • Business leaders and COOs, Global Heads of HR – For planning and structuring the strategic people priorities  
  • Global CoEs and capability centres (Ex. Talent and Learning) – For delivering and executing programs and projects   
  • Regional HRBPs and HR Advisors – For ensuring local level diagnosis, implementation and delivery of programs  
  • The HR Consultant will also get opportunities to work with external consultants to help design pragmatic solutions

What you’ll do:

  • The role holder will be the primary enablers for driving the effective execution and delivery of the various HR multi-disciplinary projects/programs supporting different function/business(s) to achieve people outcomes.
  • Enable delivery of people outcomes – Provide actionable insights for formulation and delivery of people outcomes based on diagnosis of people risks and research on internal and external HR trends. Some of the people outcomes include (but not limited to): 
  • Organization simplification and agility through various programs specific to global line of businesses, WPB and global functions  
  • Delivery and execution of targeted programs for (not limited to): 
  • Organic and in-organic growth in strategic business areas for medium- long term impact 
  • Building of future critical skills within the workforce which is aligned to future business strategy  
  • Building an employee value proposition to attract and retain talent  
  • Supporting diversity and inclusion strategies in the workforce through insights, governance, and control  
  • Leveraging technology and data for enabling seamless employee experience 
  • Project management – Responsible for designing a structured action plan and managing day to day activities of the workstream/projects for its effective implementation. Monitor risks and ensure timely delivery, execution and governance of various tasks and deliverables as per the plan  
  • HR workstream and projects design – Partner with the CoEs, Sr. HR consultants and business stakeholders to co-create and design specific interventions and key deliverables/solutions to deliver people strategy. Oversee and manage the OKRs for the respective workstreams and projects   
  • Stakeholder Management –Engage across peer groups (HRC teams, Heads of HRs, HR CoEs, HR advisors) and businesses and leverage these relationships to enable successful project delivery and manage their expectations and requirements of the business
Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • You have 6-8 years of experience in driving large HR transformation initiatives spanning across multiple HR areas and have the learning agility to explore new areas and domains  
  • You have external consulting experience and have leveraged agile ways of working and proven project management methodologies to deliver and manage projects 
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and have strong analytical abilities to draw insights to support business decisions  
  • You have led and/or managed large scale, complex projects with end-to-end ownership and are able to identify problems and mitigate risks 
  • You are a critical thinker and have strong influential skills and are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across levels, geographies to deliver required results
