We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate Director, Premier Insurance Specialist. 

Principal Responsibilities

  • Support newly on boarded PWMs, helping them with insurance fact finds, establishing the insurance needs of customers in areas of protection, wealth accumulations, retirement needs, and education needs (PERM needs)
  • Conduct coaching sessions with PWMs and PRMs to improve insurance soft skillsets and insurance knowledge
  • Conduct Portfolio Reviews with PRMs, assess product suitability and market and regulatory change impact to products held by clients as appropriate, identify opportunities and manage risks
  • Conduct joint appointments with PRMs, helping customers to have knowledge on legacy planning
  • Improve PWM and PRMs’ product specific technical knowledge by effective on-job coaching and training
  • Join PRMs in meeting clients and providing technical advice and input based on technical knowledge
  • Collect and apply market and channel intelligence to identify and share product competitive gaps, service issues, business opportunities, and challenges with stakeholders
  • Conduct insurance sales training and encourage insurance sales activities of PWMs and PRMs, sharing knowledge and encouraging others to do the same
  • Liaise between stakeholders and leadership teams on training and leads programs/initiatives
  • Provide support to PWMs and PRMs on increasing and capturing cross sell opportunities
  • Deliver fair outcomes to HSBC Singapore clients and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operations of financial markets
Requirements
  • An accredited Degree/Diploma Holder
  • Candidate should have 2 to 5 years of relevant insurance sales experience, especially in high net-worth products such as Universal Life and have strong knowledge of the investment climate to provide sound advice in wealth accumulation, legacy planning and premium financing
  • Candidate should be mature, confident and possesses strong presentation and pitching skills to hold an effective client conversation with PRM
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across the various team members and internal stakeholders
  • Have strong passion in training and coaching of insurance products, concept and sales with PRM
  • Possesses relevant CMFAS papers: M5, M5A, M9, M9A, HI

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
