What you’ll do:

Synthetics Prime Brokerage requires hands-on Asia Lead, located at GuangZhou. The POD is based in GZ and owns the full Synthetic Pre Trade platform (Omega / Falcon). this role reports to the Head of Sec Fin China regionally, and Sub Asset Class Lead in London Globally and is responsible for working closely with the global stakeholders and product owners. 

This Leadership Role Requires:

• Strong relationships with business stakeholders, technology teams and senior manager, Including strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Co-Ordination and delivery for the SecFin business with demand coming from multiple location and product owners while working with Synthetics Dev teams globally across 5 locations (Pune, Toronto, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and London).
• Role requires an experienced leader who can drive a culture of continuous improvement, and encourage a culture of domain understanding within the team.
• Ability to Mentors other, grow careers and deliver success, Develop talent within both regional and global team.
• Work with stake holders and product owners, driving ownership, defining the acceptance criteria or on the benefits to customers.
• Experienced manager, responsible for managing multi-discipline team of DevOps Engineers
• Take Functional ownership - Lead in requirements and drive the delivery Securities Financing future state architecture (eg. replacing Omega Core with a cloud solution build on the SecFin hosting platform).
• Influencing Senior stakeholders including Business, ensure focus on functional and Non Functional deliveries.
• Building & leading a high performing team who is self-sufficient and take responsibility for end-to-end delivery.
• Responsible for production support, stability & improvements - removing long-term support issues, driving improvements and focus long-term stability of the Synthetics Prime Brokerage platform.
• Managing overall Synthetics Pre Trade delivery roadmap.  Ensure quality processes are defined and adhered to.  Identify areas for improvement and drive change forward.
• Role is the point of escalation for Synthetics Pre Trade.
• Detailed understanding of software development life-cycle (Agile & DevOps).

• Are passionate about technology and look for opportunities to learn and bring new ideas to the organization.
• Have an innovative yet pragmatic approach to creating business and technology solutions.
• Have experience leading and managing an agile cross function delivery team and takes end to end accountability for quality delivery and production operation.
• Capable of collecting and validating business requirements.
• Ideally having Prime Broker business knowledge, but not mandatory.
• Maximize the value the team delivers through developing a deep understanding of, and close working relationship with Securities Financing business.
• Micro-service architecture and open-sources technologies.
• Hands on application design / development experience in Java, Cloud platform, Linux.
