What you’ll do:

The Delivery Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects within an Agile framework, ensuring that teams are aligned and focused on achieving business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and data technologies, as well as the ability to facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams.

  • Agile Leadership: Lead and mentor Agile teams, promoting Agile principles and practices to enhance team performance and delivery efficiency. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews, ensuring that teams remain focused on delivering value.
  • Project Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, requirements, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • GCP and Data Technology Expertise: Leverage expertise in GCP and data technologies to guide teams in implementing data solutions that meet business needs. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to cloud technologies and data management, providing insights to drive innovation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or roadblocks. Foster strong relationships with business units, ensuring that their needs are understood and prioritized in project planning.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within teams, encouraging experimentation and learning from failures. Analyze project outcomes and team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Delivery Lead or similar role within an Agile environment, preferably in data-driven projects. Strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and data technologies, with hands-on experience in implementing data solutions.
  • Agile Methodologies:In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and experience in applying these practices to deliver projects effectively. Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP) is a plus.
  • Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and a positive team culture.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions quickly. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Infrastructure: Technology Stack: Familiarity with GCP services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub) and data technologies (e.g., ETL tools, data warehousing, data lakes). Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to support efficient delivery processes.
