The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced technical SME to assist with our technical lead & product owner to hands on our data virtulisation platform's capabilities implementation, new feature adoption market roll out, use cases onboarding. This role would also need to face business to understand the demand from Global Businesses/Global Functions (GB/GF).

What you’ll do:

• Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
• Guiding the team on how to get the most of out self-organization.
• Understand & implement engineering scope within defined timelines and quality standards
• Carry out detailed requirements analysis, strategy and estimation, development, testing and production implementation
• Work closely with other member in Scrum team. Co-ordinate with product owner/developer/quality manager/ onsite coordinator for issues resolution
• Manager engineering resources and allocate tasks effectively, monitor and guide the team in task execution. Develop the capability of teammate and keep the team moral .
• Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
• Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
• Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
• Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example.

• University graduate with degree in computer science, information technology or related discipline
• At least 7 years’ experience in IT with solid knowledge on application development and support
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English
• Strong leadership skills to guide a team on a engineering delivery
• Strong knowledge on service operation and resillience, associating the engineering best practice
• Experience in Finance and Banking industry would be an advantage
• Technical capability: Continuously upgrading and learning various technologies required for successful project delivery through continuous learning and training.
• Familiar with Big data, Hadoop, Spark, BI, ETL, DB2, Oracle, Java, and knowledge on cloud i.e. GCP, Alicloud even private cloud
• Familiar with DevOps (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, SonarQube etc) and container stack(K8s, Docker, Google Kubernetes Engine, Ali Cloud ACK)

• Work under pressure, willing OT when the project is in tight schedule.
• Open mindset and adapt to the change, positive attitude and logical thinking
• Able to work independently, under pressure and proactively in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines
• Team player; Multi-tasking; good inter-personal skills; Troubleshooting ability & testing skills; organized self-starter.
