Role Purpose

To ensure timely and accurate processing of Foreign Exchange/ Money Market/ Fixed Income/ Derivatives deals done by Global Markets, India including regulatory and FIM compliance.

Principal Accountabilities:

Impact on the Business

  • Accurate and timely processing of Foreign Exchange/ Money Market/ Fixed Income/ Derivatives deals done by Front office within appropriate cut off times.
  • Accurate and timely reporting of trades to Trade repository
  • Monitoring of Trade Matching Platforms
  • Accurate processing of Foreign Exchange/ Money Market/ Fixed Income/ Derivatives deals done by Front office
  • Ensure all confirmations and payments are sent in time   
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal control requirements

Customers / Stakeholders

  • To provide internal customers with the highest level of service through understanding customer needs and establishing good relationships, with improvement from benchmark by year end
  • Support new Treasury business initiatives
  • Maintain a high level of control over correspondence both internal and external

Leadership & Teamwork

  • Contribute to sustaining team morale and motivation within the department
  • Ensure atmosphere of the team is maintained with open communication amongst the team and with managers

Operational Effectiveness & Control

  • Provide suggestions and assist in streamlining processes and work flows in TRS with a view to reducing manual effort and achieving higher efficiency/accuracy and cost savings
  • Ensure strict cost control discipline

 

                                               

 

Requirements
  • Post Graduation or as required for this role, whichever is higher
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience

Eligibility Criteria

  • India Bank / INM employees will be eligible to apply to this role after completion of 12 months in the current role/position at the time of application on level transfer and/or promotion.
  • Entity Employees (not from India Bank) to be guided by their internal policy on tenure completion in current role at the time of application before applying and share line manager approval once shortlisted
  • INM Employees in scope of WPB Career Progression Framework not eligible to apply to roles within the purview of the Framework.

Additional Information

  • Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required.
