We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate, Wealth & Personal Banking Strategy.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Participate in strategic IWPB projects and Group-wide initiatives assessing structural long term opportunities for HSBC leveraging IWPB capabilities
  • Provide support and build relationships with Senior Stakeholders
  • Undertake analysis to support the development and track execution of IWPB strategy
  • Identify key issues / opportunities and using HSBC and external sources to provide actionable recommendations for the IWPB
  • Effectively communicate (both written and oral) analyses across internal stakeholders – within IWPB strategy, across strategy colleagues in the bank and across other functions within IWPB
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Structured analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw insights from complex data sources
  • Self-sufficient and results driven with ability to demonstrate resilience
  • Strong technical skills in particular Excel and PowerPoint. Good quantitative background
  • Strong interpersonal and written communications skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Confidence in liaising across the organisation with an ability to deliver clear, insightful and succinct analyses
  • Ability to prioritise effectively against multiple deadlines
