• Finance has mobilized new program to create the Finance Data Service The program intends to reduce the data footprint through use of virtualization. The program intends to reduce the repairs/adjustments through improved data quality. 
• The vision for the FDS Programme is “to manage data distribution for finance and own the data sourcing relationship with the data refineries.” Key programme outcomes are to reduce multiple copies of data across business, ledger, and finance data platform. It also intends to reduce large amount of manual effort per reporting cycle.

The Opportunity:

• This role is within the Design capability for Finance Data Service (FDS) programme. Requirement Analysis & Design team is a team formed under change delivery and this role is expected to support FDS design work in India. The team consist of 30-40 Business analysts who are Design business analyst with techno-functional skills and subject matter experts in Financial Reporting, RWA and Liquidity domain.

What you’ll do:

• Lead data modelling requirements (Level 1 & Level 2 Mandatory data requirement, data model enhancements)
• Work as data business analyst to raise the requirements for applications to meet the strategic objective of banks future state of architecture.
• Understand the data requirements & use cases of value streams and liaise with Data refineries to source the data.
• Ensuring all the requisite project documents (functional designs, L2 solution, technical design, etc) are prepared & maintained.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure they understand the impact of the solution design of the changes.
• Engage with the stakeholders in obtaining the sign off the requisite changes.
• Ensure all the project related risks are highlighted to the management on time.
• Ensure that the project is delivered efficiently within budget, time, and minimal rework.
• Ensure that any risk & issue is escalated as and when required.

What you will need to succeed in the role:

• Professional qualifications: B Com / M Com / MBA/ CA Inter
• Seasoned Techno-finance professional with overall experience of 10+ years in Finance / Banking / Regulatory systems.
• Understanding of banking products, 
• Knowledge of accounting treatments of banking products within ledger,
• Finance change: Understands SDLC. Someone who is familiar with analysis, design, development, testing
• Business architecture: Involved in data modelling through physical and logical data model creation 
• Excellent business analysis, requirement & design analysis and data analysis skills are required.
• Should be able to lead design book of work independently.
• Experience in the financial sector, specializing in data analytics of granular transactional data to create visual paradigm to optimize data structures. He/she is expected to be hands-on in data analysis and data modelling.
• Analytical skills: Capability to analyze complex business processes and systems, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaboration: Work Closely with stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment between goals and technology solutions.
• Enterprise Architecture: The candidate understands enterprise architecture frameworks and has worked on business process modelling. He/she is expected to be familiar with the traditional IT and cloud systems.
• Problem Solving: Capacity to identify and address challenges to enhance efficiency of data models.
• Change Management: Skill in managing changes in the data domain which involves defining relationships between multiple sources of banking data sets.
• Project Management: Experience in working in complex projects related to business architecture and understands the governance of software projects.

What additional skills will be good to have?

• Proficient in interrogating databases via SQL queries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project)
• Understanding of cloud platform/technology is desirable.
• High level of analytical skills and ability to grasp complicated functions in short period of time and transfer knowledge appropriately and document.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure with challenging deadlines.
• Sound problem solving, planning & organizing skills.
• Self-motivated and good team player.
• Should be flexible to stretch at work across time zones.
• Robust experience in planning and organizing work in a global environment.
