What you’ll do:     

The role holder will focus on using Data & Analytics to drive business activities and outcomes that improve or transform:

  • Customer experience.

  • Staff productivity.

  • Business decision process.

  • The above would in turn improve business profitability and grow market share following WPB strategies.

The role holder will be successful provided he/she:

  • Clearly understands the data and analytical requirements of the mission; even better if he/she understands the business context and requirements.

  • Proactively asks questions to improve his/her knowledge of the product, process, and business context.

  • Actively seeks to acquire or improve skills associated with his/her designated Discipline.

  • Actively seeks to learn how to conduct his/her work via the cloud platform and kits.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:       

  • Possess 1 to 4 years’ experience with specialization in one or more of these skills: business analytics, data science, data management, AI/ML engineering, cloud platform engineering, data governance, data visualization.

  • Good problem solving skills.

  • Strong communicator; Good interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience in forming ‘advisory’ relationships with senior managers.

  • Highly self-motivated, self-starter.

  • Strong team player; able to work members of different skills and experiences. Comfortable to operate in a complex matrix structure with multiple stakeholders.

  • Technical knowledge in one or more of: customer segmentation, data science, portfolio analytics, use of open-source data in analyses, data engineering.

 

What additional skills will be good to have?     

  • Strong technical experience in process and analysis of large amount of data using one of these: Python, R, SQL or SAS. 

  • Proficiency in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning algorithms; hands-on use of DataRobot or Sagemaker. 

  • Having Bachelor degree in a one of these preferred disciplines: mathematics, computer science, data engineering, data science, analytics, statistics, econometrics, management information system, operations research.
