Customer Value Management is vital in maintaining HSBC’s position as a provider of world-class wealth and personal banking solutions, directing business development with a focus on customers. The team works to ensure the most appropriate pricing, products and promotions are directed to the most relevant customers, concentrating on building value, treating customers fairly and creating a superb customer experience.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Card Product Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Assist to formulate card product strategy to define distinctive product proposition for target segments to maintain leadership position in the market
  • Work closely with data analytics teams to conduct regular data analysis to keep close monitoring on the product performance to identify potential risks and opportunities for business growth
  • Manage and implement card product feature enhancement from time to time in response to the market landscape change with business case projection to ensure profitable returns on investments
  • Drive customer journey enhancement with digitization and collaborate with other business units to develop superior end-to-end customer experience across channels and customer touchpoints
  • Participate in new product and digital projects with end to end exposure from delivery planning, P&L forecast, requirement scoping, card scheme negotiation, risk clearance, product commercialization and coordination work with different stakeholders to ensure a smooth project delivery to achieve the business goals
  • Support day-to-day business tasks including but not limited to cost control and monitoring, competitor review and internal compliance and risk stewards clearance when required
Requirements
  • Degree holder in relevant disciplines
  • Work experience on credit card, loans or analytical areas would be a plus. 
  • Strong business acumen and project management skills
  • Self-driven with strong drive and positive working attitude
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with critical thinking
  • Fluent in Cantonese and English with good presentation skills
