The Opportunity:

  • Client Connectivity (Channels and Client Implementation) Operations is a part of GPS Operations and delivers a centralized operations utility for HSBC's Corporate Implementation and Digital Channels (including HSBCnet, Host-to-Host Connect, and SWIFT net) supporting payments, cards, receivables, liquidity, trade, supply chain finance, custody, securities services, and money market trading solutions globally across Europe, Asia, Middle East, North and Latin America.
  • The team caters to CIB customers of HSBC and provides service and support for the customer digital lifecycle across GPS, GTRF, Private Bank, Innovation, and HSS products. It spans across 6 Global Service Centers (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Guangzhou, Krakow, Cairo and Mexico).
  • The team is responsible for staff access and system changes for Digital Channels. The team serves staff globally by provisioning access to staff facing tools, Staff View, Connect, Echo etc. The other key role of the team is to manage system parameters on Staff View and Connect system to ensure associated system parameters of a country is defined correctly for system to function seamlessly and as expected.

What you’ll do:

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities (e.g., for Business, Customers and Stakeholders; internal control environment, etc.)

  • Managing infrequent changes to various controls, managing the ongoing amendments to STP automation and Reference data management space
  • Provisioning Staff Channel Access
  • Manage DTCS/Data Visa for Digital Group Channels
  • Update System Loaded and currency tables changes (UAT/Production/ICAT)
  • HSBCnet Cookie control
  • Maintain Channel / Country / Institution level maintenance, including payment cut-off times, holiday, currency calendars and Payment services
  • Manage Investiture/Divestiture & migration projects
  • User ID&V Implementations
  • Staff functions (Staff View/HSBCnet) SME (projects, initiatives & Investigations)
  • FI/NBFI remediation
  • Relationship Management Agreement (RMA) /MT101 functionality remediation
  • Review Cross Border Data Restrictions, Staff Role, Toxic combination analysis & Entitlement control.
  • FCC/RC Sanctions screening/OWS
  • Release/special implementation Project reviews / SDLC Gates, KCTR/PVT profile management & support
  • Product Control Framework (PCF) and Staff View Template requests fulfillment - PCF analysis and proposition management controls definition and operational implementation
  • Channel Operational process controls

Leadership & Teamwork

  • Work independently and & complete the assigned tasks in established timeframes as per the process benchmarks.
  • High level of judgment and independent decision-making skills.
  • Proactively identify issues if any and escalate.
  • Assist line manager/supervisor with managing day-to-day operations and support peers on process if needed.

  • Excellent communication skills – Verbal and written
  • Building effective senior stakeholder relationships at a global/regional level. Confidence to constructively challenge the agenda to help the business and technical teams deliver in a consistent and controlled manner
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with Front office, Back office and partner teams whilst delivering a client centric outcome
  • Flexible to work 24*5 (with weekend support potentially required for testing or incident support)
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills - maintain good relationship with stakeholders.
  • High focus on proactiveness and ownership for tasks assigned.
  • Self-motivated and should be able to work under minimal supervision.
