In this role you will:
• Create and execute an integrated communications strategy, ensuring effective internal and external communication approaches, with a particular focus on proactive media relations and a strong social medial strategy
• Further strengthen the bank’s reputation, telling our story via high-quality content including thought leadership, press releases, digital content and townhall messaging
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets and industry partners ensuring effective coordination of media interviews, briefings and events
• Provide counsel to the CEO and broader executive team on communication opportunities, risks and messaging inclusive of supporting crisis communication
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
• Strong experience in strategic communications development, planning and execution, ideally but not necessarily in banking or another financial services industry
• Proven track record in media relations, employee communications and social media
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to produce clear engaging content while working in a complex, internationally matrixed organisation
