The Opportunity: 

Global Private Banking & Wealth aim at providing single front-to-back trading capability, enabling delivery of products and services across asset classes and scaling multi-market with a consistent user experience across the client continuum.
To cope with our expansion globally, we are now seeking experienced and self-motivated IT professionals to join our team as a key Java developer.

This role is part of the GPB&W which is a roll out of Trading solutions across various entities in APAC markets.  He/She would be part of the core application of development team with primary responsibility to enhance and support the allocated modules in the trading application. The role would also require release and implementation support when deploying different releases.

What you’ll do:

• Accountable for ensuring the design of the product solutions are cost effective and maintained through the agile development lifecycle, managing the flow of the backlog of design activities. 
• Ability to influence key stakeholders in order to achieve the best desired outcome.
• Responsible for translating detailed designs into robust, scalable and reusable solutions that deliver exceptional user experience. 
• Breaking down the system functions into multiple-tier API layers and micro services.
• Collaborate with team members on reviewing requirements, designs, and code refactoring for appropriateness and provides suggestions for improvement. 
• Responsible for ensuring solutions are aligned with the platform architecture and roadmap, group standards, regulatory requirements and policies and the overall enterprise architecture for their function. 
• Responsible for full stack real-time trading applications development, design and governance.
• Maintain high-standards of UI design and to follow established principles to ensure cohesive user experience and consistent look-and-feel across a full spectrum of trading applications.
• Recommend best practices and approaches to design technical solutions for financial products and trading, understanding regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Provides accurate estimates and status to management, raising issues appropriately. 
• Be able to demonstrate you can work with distributed teams.
