The Opportunity:  
The selected candidate will be part of the Wholesale Global Trade Solutions STF IT Team, playing the important role of lead portfolio support, proactively working with senior management, technology management and the project teams. To encourage best practices in the delivery of qualitative and cost efficient system solutions on time to exceed internal customer satisfaction. 

What you’ll do:  
• Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices
• Drive action and implement the portfolio activities to achieve the strategic intent (short and long term) 
• Work closely with global and regional stakeholders on scope, budget and projects delivery
• Maintain effective and good relationship between the business and the IT Project team, managing appropriate business expectations and negotiating compromise where appropriate 
• Ability to articulate complex arguments and convey key messages to all levels 
• Develop, deliver and evolve STF resource profiling and financial performance analysis ensuring that regular performance metrics and insightful commentary is available to business executives and senior management

• Experience in leading financial analysis with different resource types and familiar with technology planning and booking systems
• Ability to think outside the box and laterally across functional areas 
• Strong planning, management, negotiation and verbal communication skills
• A tracked record of constantly looking for ways to do things better with process optimization, and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change 
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
• Ability to build effective networks across business areas, develope relationships based on mutual trust and encourage others to do the same.

What additional skills will be good to have?  
• University graduate with a degree in Information Technology, Financial Management, or a related discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
• Working experience in Agile methodology/SAFe.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Self-motivated, positive, and flexible with the ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
