The Opportunity:

 This is a role for senior full stack engineering. Need to be involoved in both development(including analysis&design) and support. And will need to work in a global POD team from UK/HK. 

What you’ll do:

• Contribute in successful delivery of projects by providing technical / application guidance to project teams. The responsibilities entail areas such as
• Feasibility Study: Participate in feasibility study
• Participate in estimation and Requirement analysis. Assist in development/evolution of estimation templates
• Provide guidance and suggestions on, fine tuning the performance of application, provide technical consultancy to project teams.
• Promote usage of right tools, explore the possibilities of effective and flexible tools and develop components / tools for it
•  Design & Coding: Develop / review the technical design. Primarily Guide and mentor team. Develop code is required
• Reviews: Conduct review of design/code/test plan, test results and deployment as per plan. Work on automating the reviews.
• Suggest and validate best practices across the SDLC and assist in implementing them along with standards
• Communicate with the relevant stake holder regarding resolving technical issues related to delivery of projects
• Conducing Technical training and mentoring and knowledge sharing.Identify potential Specialist from the teams
• Create and implement reuse charter for the projects supported. Promote the usage of repositories
• Update with future technology / application trends, collaborate with Architect / Project teams and provide feedback.
• Customer Facing: Actively consult and communicate customers

• University graduate degree in computer science, information technology or related discipline.   
• Hands-on Java & React development experience over 6 years. Will be required to do the coding and provide guidance to the junior developers.
• Solid enterprise application development experience in Spring, Java, React, API, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, micro-services.
• Solid experience on UI architecture, design pattern, responsive web design and accessibility.
• Solid experience on application security development and implementation - Oauth/OpenAM etc.
• Automated CI/CD experience is a must.
•  Effective writing and communication in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
• Experience on GCP Data technology (e.g. Big Query, Cloud SQL, Data Flow, Google Cloud Bucket etc) and GCP on-boarding procedure is advantageous.
• Experience on Large Language Model (LLM) and Retrieval Enhanced Generation (RAG) is advantageous.
• Experience on automated test, performance and scalability test is advantageous.

What additional skills will be good to have?

 Evolve developoment & support experience is advantage, and Agile project/Devops experience is advantaged.
