Securities Services Tech in China provides technology services and solutions for Securities Services businesses. These include both vendor based products and a number of award winning in-house systems.
We have a long-term vision for Securities Services Tech – a future state of architecture that is strategic and disciplined, that enables future updates and costs less. We also have objectives to constantly improve the way we deliver, with our main focus on further integrating DevOps into our business model.
The Opportunity:
This role is for surround interface and reporting development around global distribution and transfer agency core platforms. He/she will be leading some aspects of the development in relation to solution design/implementation/production support, and working closely with global teams, e.g. change team, operation team, program delivery.
What you’ll do:
- Provide BAU support to various reporting platforms, and service management as report service owner.
- Develop reporting microservices to support various of reporting requirement from different regions.
- Develop report templates and migrate existing BO reports to strategy reporting platform.
- Communicating progress with Agile Lead.
- Liaise with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product to meet business roadmap.
- Architect deisgn of reporting patform envolution.
- Make decisions within a project, guide and coach team on technical expertise, development standards and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Professional knowledge and experience on core Java, and Spring Boot and Spring Cloud stack
- Professional knowledge and experience on Microservices and RESTful API
- Professional knowledge and experience on reporting development skills e.g. Jasper, BO etc
- Professional knowledge and experience on writing/tuning high performance Oracle SQL
- Strong knowledge and experience on Linux/Windows scripting
- Strong knowledge and experience on DevOps tooling stack, e.g. Jenkins, Nexus, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Ansible
What additional skills will be good to have?
- GCP Engineering or Architecture Certification preferred is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication in English, and well engagement with global teams.
Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environment.
