The transfer agency function serves as a vital component as the interface between a fund and its investors and it is having 450+ staffs, servicing 1.5 million investors, administrating around 1,200 billion assets from 11,000+ funds domiciled in 26 countries, processing 290,000+ transactions per month. GTAP and MFGI are the global technology platforms supporting traditional funds and alternative funds respectively, where 85%+ transactions have been processed over STP already. We have developed a microservice platform, GTAPWeb, to integrate the core systems and surroundings.

   

The Opportunity:

The role will work as consultant specialist on technical testing for the Global Distribution and Transfer Agency (GDTA) business stream

 

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze testing requirements, testing scope to design approach and test plan to align with program or project delivery

  • Prepare Non functional testing (i.e: performance testing) approach and automation approach within project timeline (IT release timeline)

  • Design, build and execute performance test scripts and automation script for project

  • Identify and resolve technical issues and test defects/bugs.

  • Assist on driving and implementing technical roadmap of testing stream including auto test framework, test tool and etc

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing delivery quality by using automation to align with program delivery (or BAU IT release)

  • Solve the testing technical debt and new testing innovation exploring for the team as well as guide junior with the team

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Global Product Delivery team, IT System Owner and Developers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology related or equivalent experience

  • Good experience of technical testing or software development with solid technical capabilities on programming languages (i.e.: Java/python/SQL), automation and performance test

  • Hand on project experience of non-functional (performance) testing, automation (regression/API) testing

  • Hand on experience of performance tool as Jmeter, Load Runner and popular automation testing tools and frameworks: e.g. Selenium, UFT, Cucumber, Serenity, BDD and PyTest

  • Experience on Agile/DevOps practice such as Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD

  • Effective communication both in English spoken and written

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, working independently, self-driving and teamwork sprit

 

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Experience with Java and web based technologies (i.e.: API, Microservices) and Database(i.e.:Oracle, SQL server)

  • Experience on Application development is also perfered

  • Able to Articulate knowledge within Investment Banking
