The Global Risk & Compliance Tech in HSBC consists of a few strategic areas: the Financial Crime, the Screening, Analytics & MI, the Regulatory Compliance, the Innovation and ASP.
The key aim of FC and Screening, Analytics & MI is to identify a new class of risks previously unknown across the retail and corporate customer base globally (currently over 100 million customers and counterparties) as well as providing investigative capabilities second to none across diverse datasets (transactional and reference data) also reporting on these risks.
This team uses some of the most the cutting edge technologies available today to allow the system to scale up significantly, and take advantage of many new data sources. The system will use many open source and vendor products to deliver the solution.
The Opportunity:
The developer will work with the team to help to ensure the DEV, UAT and PROD infrastructures are properly maintained and CI/CD tooling can keep up with the project demand, also supporting the work of moving all development and production environment to GCP
Lead, facilitate and improve CI/CD in the project
What you’ll do:
Extensive experience in Linux/shell script or Python or Java
Extensive development experience in Ansible, Jenkins, or Terraform
Strong development experience in any programming languages (Java, Javascript, C#)
Provide prioritization, planning, estimating, work assignments, quality assurance and mentoring at any stage of a project.
Provide training, guidance, assistance, and knowledge transfer among team members.
Perform other duties as assigned. Overall a good general technical knowledge.
