This team leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with our business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning, and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Employee Experience Insights and Research Lead to support the Employer Brand and Experience team within the People Governance and Communications function. This role will help the team achieve its marketing goals by leveraging robust candidate and employee insights and drive an increase in candidate and employee satisfaction.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
- Define the ideal state key metrics required to continuously measure candidate and employee experience
- Support the Employer brand team and the broader Talent Enterprise & Solutions teams with ad hoc research requirements, ensuring our strategic recommendations to business stakeholders are data-led
- Conduct primary research (e.g. internal focus groups, quant surveys) amongst employees as and when required; Set up and manage end-to-end candidate and employee research initiatives
- Leveraging candidate data and analytics tools to measure performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement through a test-and-learn approach
- Monitor trends in our existing employee surveys, tracking the impact of our EX/CX initiatives and identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with various departments to drive change by ensuring improvement areas in our CX/EX journeys are addressed and candidate/employee satisfaction improves
- Support the development of data-led KPIs for recruiters and hiring managers; Help the team identify the right data to build business cases to ensure investment into candidate & employee experience initiatives
- Monitor industry trends to ensure our Employer brand remains competitive amongst our target Talent pools; Behave in a high performing manner within the team, and be a senior member of the broader Employer brand Team
To be successful you will need
- Hands-on experience in insight & customer experience, developing quantitative surveys, running qualitative focus groups and distilling learnings into actionable insights
- Experience mapping customer journeys to identify pain points and ability to think creatively to solve pain points, working collaboratively with other teams to do so; Good knowledge of how to use alternative research methods e.g. behavioural science, to support our efforts to improve candidate/employee satisfaction
- Analytical mind and ability to synthesise primary and secondary research in a story-led, compelling way to stakeholders; Understanding of the role of Employer brand plays in attracting candidates and retaining employees, and how EVPs are developed and rolled out
- Attentive to details, proactive, self-motivated with strong project management skills; Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams but also independently to see projects through
- Passionate about improving candidate and employee experience; Ability to challenge the status quo and apply a forward-thinking approach to deliver sustainable change
- Experience working with external agencies and managing agency relationships; Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
