We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Enterprise-wide Frameworks Senior Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

The role holder would focus on driving Enterprise-wide Framework initiatives, including:

  • Designing and implementing frameworks across Global Insurance Finance, including reinsurance, hedging, stress testing, environmental scenario analysis and reporting, Annual Actuarial Basis Reviews, MI capabilities, etc.
  • Ensuring frameworks appropriately guide and govern how core Global Insurance Finance activities are conducted, including principles and standards on (i) data, (ii) processes, (iii) controls, (iv) R&C and Governance, (v) analysis and MI requirements, (vi) roles, responsibilities, and engagement, and (vii) purpose and usage
  • Engaging key stakeholders across all lines of defence to ensure frameworks consider and reflect the requirements and expectations of relevant processes and regulations
  • Engaging core process owners to support them with implementing and embedding frameworks within BAU practice
  • Acting as a 1LoD review and challenge of framework implementation and relevant output to ensure consistency and quality across the function
  • Monitoring and, where required, updating frameworks on an ongoing basis for the latest developments

The role holder would also be required to collaborate with the wider team and contribute to its overall objectives:

  • 1LoD review of GI Finance Governance materials across committees to improve quality of materials and effectiveness / efficiency of meetings
  • Providing thorough technical 1LoD R&C across GI Finance outputs and materials (e.g. forecasts, actuals, scenario analysis)
  • Producing Global-level Insurance Governance materials (e.g., GAC, GRC)
  • Conducting ad-hoc, independent investigations into emerging / hot topics
  • Engaging in frequent interaction with wider teams across Insurance (Business, Risk, Strategy, Capital, etc.) and the Bank
  • Providing regular feedback, coaching and guidance and to act as the point of escalation to manage risks and issues
  • Nurturing strong internal and external networks to stay abreast of sector developments, trends and leading practices to continuously enhance GI Finance Governance and frameworks, and operations of the team
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in Governance & framework standards / outputs within financial services, preferably life insurance and banking
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality output with buy-in from key stakeholders
  • Experience working with globally dispersed teams and stakeholders
  • Understanding of Insurance, products, IFRS17, and key frameworks (e.g., Risk-Based Capital) is highly valued
  • Knowledge and experience with change management would be an advantage
