Third-Party Management (“TPM”) is a first line global function responsible for developing the tools and processes to enable the Bank to be compliant with the Group Third Party Risk Policy and relevant regulatory expectations. The TPM office is accountable to the HSBC Bank UK Plc (‘UK RFB’) to ensure compliance to Group’s Third-Party Risk Management framework and all applicable regional regulatory standards e.g. The Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Completing proper monitoring on TPM related metrics, risks and controls is required to make sure we are aligned with new and evolving internal (policy) and external (regulatory) requirements, governance to ensure processes are embedded and operating effectively, and monitoring of the regulatory landscape and mitigating the risk posed to HSBC UK from the Third-Party landscape.
What you’ll do
- Provide direct Third Party Management (TPM) support to team members and to Business/Functions operating through in-scope Legal Entities.
- Flex across ad-hoc programmes of work and existing TPM processes, supporting priority activities based on team capacity and demand.
- Lead or contribute to remediation activity to address gaps and strengthen TPM compliance.
- Partner with regional and global TPM/TPRM colleagues to deliver a consistent, measurable service—meeting SLAs/targets and escalating issues promptly through the right channels.
- Build strong working knowledge of TPM SOPs and global/regional guidance, and confidently guide stakeholders through required actions across the engagement lifecycle.
- Complete all tasks with high attention to detail and appropriate due diligence, ensuring accurate records and timely outcomes.
- Proactively identify process weaknesses, recommend improvements, and help implement corrective actions to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
- Support the line manager and wider team by resolving TPM queries, assessing impacts of regulatory/policy changes on BAU and the operating model, and reporting delivery risks with proposed solutions.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Third Party Risk Management experience is desired but not essential.
- Experience of Data handling, MI and Reporting and Excel is required.
- Experience in target driven operating environment is desired.
- Analytical skills and proper work prioritization is essential.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience of building effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same.
What we offer
The pay range for this role is 10167 PLN - 14000 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
