Global Trade Solutions Department (GTS) is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.
Today, HSBC is the leading international trade bank and GTS sits as part of Commercial Banking. We support customers’ right through the trade cycle, from raw materials – to manufacturing and shipment - to discounting and collecting invoices. We do this by working with Commercial Banking and Global Banking relationship managers, providing solutions appropriate for the customers' need. 
The jobholder will work in Global Trade Solutions Services centre, being a part of Wholesale Operations department and cooperate with other areas of the Bank to ensure successful execution of their goals.

What you’ll do
    • Main objective is to work with the accounting control team to help resolve the suspenses for Continental Europe noting it has impacts on revenue,
    • Analyse accounting, prepare and post regularisations   
    • Support Cadency review
    • Support gap CRI-CRC
    • Support queries from Finance about rejections of accounting files sent by operating system

What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • Willingness to understand the GTS products
    • Willingness to understand the accounting posting process for HIE
    • Analyse the suspenses in accounting (FTP or webdcgc), 
    • Proficient English
    • Proficient in French preferably
    • Self-motivated work attitude which will allow working independently on job position  
    • Very good communicative skills 
    • Desire to achieve and go beyond targets 
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to details
