Your career opportunity
The primary purpose of the job for the Manager of Operations – Global Staff Vetting is to run the vetting function with engagement with Vendor cross site for multiple regions. The job-holder will be responsible for working to improve the efficiency of the whole process and meet the expectations of the internal business customer. Ensure no regulatory breach or Vendor Control failure lead to Operation Risk. This will involve regularly liaising with different sites and the vendor involved in verifications for HSBC.

What you’ll do
    • Manage the service delivery of the Vendor and Vetting Team as per the KPI. 
    • Implement company policy and contribute to the attainment of functional results.
    • Ensure the quality of tasks/services provided by colleagues, involving regular process checks or review of output by a co-worker and/or supervisor.
    • Provide general guidance/direction to Vendor as well as Vetting Team members to develop their skills.
    • Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures in own team.
    • Support change initiatives and escalate any concerns.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • Knowledge of Global Vetting processes and systems.
    • Ability to exercise analytical and judgemental skills in considering vendor objections pertaining to verifications.
    • Excellent Vendor Management and navigate among barriers in improving performance standard and effectiveness.
    • Confident in presenting material to all levels & Trainings to the team on process updates.
    • Ability to maintain focus while working with voluminous / critical data.
    • Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business heads, senior managers, consultants, technical experts across the whole department and business area.

The pay range for this role is 8 783 PLN - 13 175 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
