The GPB Subject Matter Expert role is expected to provide cross-process operational and technical support to the PBUS team.

The PBUS team supports processing for multiple asset classes including Securities, Money Markets and Funds as well as Corporate Actions activities.


The Opportunity:

The PBUS team completes processing, operational, customer service and/or accounting related duties in support of an assigned area of Securities, Funds Money Market Processing & Corporate Actions. This individual is responsible to provide oversight and intercession of back office processes and act as a liaison for the business units when necessary.

The position requires working closely with various business units including Relationship Managers, Administrators and Onshore Middle Office Support teams.


What you’ll do:

  • Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency for all processes undertaken within the team
  • Actively review Desk Instructions/Procedures to assist daily duties making sure they are always up to-date.
  • Perform controls as checker in the process.
  • Practical approach to problem solving. Demonstrate an understanding of F.I.M requirements, local business procedures and Audit recommendations.
  • Ensure team MI maintained & completed daily
  • Carry out primary level of investigation for any errors, complaints, or ops losses
  • Conduct user acceptance test before launch of new products/systems or strategic initiatives
  • Contribute proactively to the improvement of operational efficiency and quality of work within the team.
  • Liaise with Relationship Teams/Credit Service Executives/ Onshore Operations
  • Have a proactive approach to issues with the business and to help find solutions.
  • Will be able to deal with complex products.
  • Responsible for training and monitoring of new joiners.
  • Office in Charge when the team manager is on leave.
  • Develop and promote respectful, helpful, and professional relationships with stakeholders in order to resolve problems swiftly.
  • Ensure the function meets its business objectives measured through strong business engagement and feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of a team that is dedicated to the delivery of outstanding customer service and driven to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to a culture to ensure the team exceeds expectations in all aspects of the Global Service Centre business.
  • Working on critical processes that have to be processed in a very accurate and timely manner.
  • Will work on processes that contain multiple asset types.
