The vision for Transformation at HSBC is to be the primary change partner for businesses, supporting the implementation of the Group Strategy and making change a sustainable competitive advantage. In this role, the jobholder serves as a key contact point between the business and IT, working independently with a high degree of flexibility. They are expected to: consult with the business at all levels, building strong relationships with Software Delivery, IT Operations, Service Delivery, and other delivery partners and Global Functions & engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously, often taking a lead analyst role in larger projects and directing all analyst activities. This position requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage and lead analysis activities across various projects effectively.
What you'll do
- Manage and execute analysis activities within priority programmes, guiding teams on Requirements Management and other analysis tasks.
- Oversee Change Management activities, from early planning and audience analysis to designing and delivering change interventions like communications, training, and support. They track change readiness, adoption, and feedback to ensure successful implementation.
- Plan, control, and report on the implementation of change products, Business Analysts focus on accelerating benefits and minimizing risks during deployment. This includes managing readiness and the early stages of implementation, such as pilots.
- Work closely with the Project Management Office, Process Consultants, and Business Consultants to ensure effective utilization of analyst resources and meet the needs of upcoming project demands.
- Anticipate and manage stakeholder expectations, fostering open and honest communication; resolves stakeholder conflict and represents the interests of other stakeholders.
- Identify and analyses complex problems involving the wider team; generates feasible and creative solutions considering all aspects and consequences; leads brainstorming meetings to discuss and/or resolve problems.
- Question current state and facilitates stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Uses understanding of the Group’s strategy, strengths, weaknesses and the external marketplace, to inform business decisions and create competitive advantage.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Strong functional knowledge of Risk Engines, Monte Carlo Simulation and Pricing Models and Risk aggregation. Strong functional understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) Data and Controls.
- Expert knowledge of Global Transformation Business Transformation Frameworks, methodologies and best practice techniques.
- Very strong knowledge of the external environment–regulatory, political, competitors etc.
- Business re-engineering knowledge. Advanced Business analysis, requirements gathering and design techniques. Advanced Change management and implementation management techniques and approaches.
- Proven track record as an outstanding analyst or consultant. Overall financial services industry knowledge with specific functional expertise.
- Extensive experience of using multiple analysis techniques in a change environment, with a mix of business, operations and technology focused projects. Experience of business case development and a sound understanding of how design enablers underpin business benefits
- Strong experience of delivering change into different audiences and managing implementation in banking environments (branch, contact center, trading floor, operations, head office etc.).
- Excellent communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills. Excellent decision making and problem-solving ability. Advanced judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems. Experience of managing large teams and resources located remotely. Ability to motivate and lead people, employing appropriate management styles.
What we offer
The pay range for this role is 15 108 PLN – 22 658 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
