Software Engineer will be working with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and how they translate into development delivery tasks.

• Work with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and how they translate into development delivery tasks.

• Estimate tasks in line with the definition of done

• Java development to meet coding standards including bank & industry standard patterns and practices.

• Thorough unit test coverage, Test Driven Development/Behaviour Driven Development

• Code documentation 

• Peer code reviews

• Refactoring

• Contribute to L3 support 

• Participate in Agile Scrum process and workflow

• Engineering background and experience in finance sector.

• Experience in interfacing with architecture function to improve architecture frameworks.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to present and communicate problems and technical issues in a clear manner across areas and disciplines.

• Good selenium knowledge.

• Good knowledge of any object-oriented programming language (eg. Java, C#, Python) - ideally with Java

• Basic cucumber knowledge.

• Basic Jenkins knowledge.

• Test automation working experience.

• Proficiency in testing manual and functional test scenarios for the business stories
