Third-Party Management ("TPM") is a first line global function responsible for developing the tools and processes to enable the Bank to be compliant with the Group Third Party Risk Policy and relevant regulatory expectations. The TPM office is accountable to the HSBC Bank UK Plc (‘UK RFB’) to ensure compliance to Group’s Third-Party Risk Management framework and all applicable regional regulatory standards e.g. The Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Completing proper monitoring on TPM related metrics, risks and controls is required to make sure we are in alignment with new and evolving internal (policy) and external (regulatory) requirements, governance to ensure processes are embedded and operating effectively, and monitoring of the regulatory landscape and mitigating the risk posed to HSBC UK from the Third-Party landscape.
What you’ll do
• Employ credible technical and professional practices to achieve compliant and efficient TPM processes in collaboration with Legal Entities and regional stakeholders.• Translate policy and regulatory requirements into understandable and operational guidance.• Challenge and support Legal Entities, businesses and function stakeholders, where required, to think creatively and pragmatically on the approaches to Third Party Management.• Identification and implementation of continuous improvement and ad-hoc programs of work that support the TPM transformation journey - proactively identifying process weaknesses in any aspect of the process and ensuring appropriate actions are put in place to rectify.• Act as a main point of contact for all TPM related questions and queries.• Create awareness of the regulatory horizon and upcoming changes to align them with BAU (Business as Usual) process where possible.• Support UK RFB TPM Team in implementation of required policy and regional regulatory changes and requirements.• Support Legal Entities with smooth alignment of regional standard implementation with consideration of local deviations as applicable.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior business leaders.• Knowledge of TPM frameworks, standards, and governance is desirable.• Experience of building effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same.• Act as SME for SOP related activities required to be performed by respective TPM process stakeholders• Use a wide internal and external network to facilitate and influence third party management improvements across region.• Lead, motivate, support, and guide team members to drive a high-performance culture• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
What we offer
The pay range for this role is 14 308 PLN – 17 000 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
