Third Party Management (“TPM"), within Global Procurement, is a first line global function responsible for developing the tools and processes to enable the Bank to be compliant with the Group Third Party Risk Policy and relevant regulatory expectations. We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Specialist Internal Third Parties (ITPs).

The topic of third party risk is a key area of focus for the Bank, and continues to be at the top of the regulatory agenda for financial services regulators. As such, internal policies and regulatory guidance and expectations in this area are continuously evolving.

To achieve compliance with internal policy and regulatory expectations, HSBC has built technology platforms and risk assessment processes in the 1st line to undertake the assessment, due diligence, monitoring and assurance of Third Party Risk. TPM continues to go through significant transformation to ensure our framework (aligned to policy), technology and organisation structure (pan-bank) is fit for purpose for ensuring a robust risk management environment for 1LOD third party risk management. The role holder will play a significant part in this programme of change (along with their BAU responsibilities) to enable the design and execution of the changes, supporting various workstreams and multiple stakeholder groups across the matrix (1LOD and 2LOD).

What you’ll do
    • Employ credible practices to achieve robust and tangible improvements to the Internal Third Party Management Process and Systems in collaboration with key business and functional stakeholders.
    • Support the design, delivery and rollout of elements of the global Internal Third Parties standards and continuous improvements initiatives.
    • Provide regional HSBC businesses and functions with consolidated, clear and accurate MI and data around their specific third party engagements, issues in process and actions being taken.
    • Challenge 1LOD and 2LOD stakeholders, where required, to think creatively and pragmatically on the approaches to Third Party Management.
    • Internal Third Parties Framework Management: Process improvement and material maintenance.
    • Training Development and maintenance for Internal Third Party Management.
    • Data analysis: Data manipulation and reporting to support Third Party Management Service Execution activities.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • Third Party Risk Management / Supply Chain / Third Party Management Experience in a financial services setting.
    • Project Management or Change Management skills or experience.
    • Stakeholder Management skills and good communication skills.
    • Training development and delivery.
    • Knowledge of Risk Domains affecting Third Parties and broader Operational Risk factors.
    • Critical thinking and ability to challenge the current status to deliver best outcomes globally.
    • Data aggregation and analysis experience is a strong plus.
    • Excel spreadsheet proficiency is a strong plus.

The pay range for this role is 10675 PLN - 15000 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
