We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Governance and Reporting Manager.

Your role in this journey is pivotal. Reporting into the Head of Business Management, you will take responsibility for supporting the central PMO team to ensure appropriate controls are in place and that the programme is operating in alignment with the overall value stream central CIB DA office vision and standards, as well as complying with HSBC’s Business TransformationChange  Framework standards. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management qualities, building relationships across the CIB DA organisation to implement and embed robust reporting, governance and controls standards.

In this role you will:

•    Undertake relevant project management, governance and reporting activities.
•    Analyse information and present key findings to senior stakeholders.
•    Identify project issues, communicate them and assist in their resolution.
•    Assist in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing project team methodology and performance.
•    Prepare and review of project documentation including status reports, risk and issue logs, project plans and other documents as required.
•    Manage operational issues that arise in conjunction with advisers and stakeholders and provide solutions for colleagues and senior executives.
•    Provide recommendations to end users and leaders on best practices and standardization in implementing and leveraging processes within Jira.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should have:

•    Business or project management skills or experience in a similar role.  
•    Strong business administration skills and competence in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
•    The ability to effectively read and analyse various reports and share insights. 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise and accurate way. 
•    Experience of managing and collaborating with a variety of key stakeholders. 
•    A positive attitude with the capability to achieve results both individually and collaboratively.
