We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of Creative Campaigns

The role of HSBC’s Communications Businesses and Markets team is to protect and strengthen the bank’s reputation through communications strategies that help advance our customers’ goals and our own.

The Creative Earned PR Campaigns Centre of Excellence exists to deliver strategic international creative communications campaign design and development in support of the commercial priorities of the bank’s Wealth & Personal Banking and Corporate and Institutional Banking businesses.

In this role you will:

•    Oversee creative ‘earned PR’ campaign communications quality and programme for IWPB and CIB globally, driving consistency, best practice and alignment with the Group Strategy and business priorities.
•    Deliver a refreshed and integrated creative earned PR campaigns strategy, and oversee the development and pipeline of consumer communications campaigns and tactical ideas (budgeted and speculative for investment) for social and traditional media, and colleague audiences. 
•    Identify and escalate reputation risks to HSBC in customer trends, and develop the associated mitigation strategies to build/safeguard the reputation of HSBC.
•    Ensure robust and appropriate measurement processes and tools are in place to evaluate consumer communications activity.
•    Maintain knowledge of stakeholder requirements, competitor activities and market trends to influence the future direction of our global creative campaign communications in support of IWPB, CIB and HSBC.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Significant experience of leadership of creative ‘earned PR’ campaign communications programmes that drive strategy and business priorities, internationally
•    Run the pipeline and development of creative communications campaigns and tactical ideas (budgeted and speculative for investment) for social and traditional media, and colleague audiences 
•    Previous experience of identifying and escalating reputation risks and developing the associated mitigation strategies to build/safeguard reputation 
•    Experience designing a robust and appropriate measurement process with the ability to evaluate activity and performance.
•    Stellar stakeholder management, collaboration and influencing skills, with strong executive presence.

This role is based in London on a hybrid basis.
