We are looking for an individual to join the team in the role of Head of Change Taxonomy.

Head of Change Taxonomy sits within the Investment, Execution & Oversight function, reporting into the Group Head of Execution and Oversight under the Group Head of Financial Planning and Analytics (FP&A).

The role provides enterprise-level leadership over the Change-the-Bank (CtB) inventory in Clarity, ensuring all initiatives are correctly classified, aligned to value streams, and governed through the appropriate pathways.

The role is a key enabler of effective portfolio decision-making at Group level, underpinning the visibility and assurance needed for Group Finance Management Meeting (GFMM), and ultimately the GTOC, a Board-level committee.

In this role, you will:

•    Provide GFMM and GTOC with reliable, executive-ready MI, insights and reporting to inform prioritisation, risk management and investment decisions.
•    Ensure the bank’s change portfolio meets internal policy, risk and regulatory standards and can withstand audit scrutiny.
•    Define, own and continuously improve the bank-wide change taxonomy and associated blueprints (e.g., value-stream delivery, multi-stream programmes, regulatory change).
•    Maintain the enterprise change inventory in Clarity as the single source of truth for CtB activity.
•    Align all change initiatives to value streams and strategy, ensuring investment decisions are evidence-based and prioritised.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Proven track record of designing, owning and embedding enterprise taxonomies or classification frameworks.
•    Extensive experience in portfolio/change governance within a large, regulated financial services environment.
•    Deep expertise in Clarity (portfolio setup, reporting, data assurance and configuration).
•    Strong knowledge of value stream management and Lean Portfolio Management practices, alongside traditional investment governance.
•    Skilled in executive-level reporting and storytelling, with the ability to distil complex portfolio data into clear insights for decision-making.
•    Excellent stakeholder management, able to influence across Board-level committees, ExCo, Finance, Risk and COO/Technology.
•    Strong leadership and coaching capability; able to produce a roadmap of changes aligned with tooling updates and drive adoption across federated teams.
•    High levels of data literacy and ability to design controls, MI and assurance frameworks that stand up to audit and regulatory scrutiny.

The role location will be London.
