Communications for Businesses and Markets (CBAM) is part of our People, Governance and Communications (PG&C) structure. This team designs and implements communications strategies to support HSBC’s business objectives in line with our values, and enhance / protect our reputation among key stakeholders.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head of Production, Communications, Businesses and Markets.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Lead the planning, coordination and execution of the production of multimedia content across HSBC’s Business, Markets, Infrastructure and Internal Communications teams
  • Lead the Global Production “Centre of Excellence” for Communications, Businesses and Markets (CBAM), and a multidisciplinary team of specialists within it
  • Take accountability for triaging, scoping and prioritising production briefs to ensure the right work gets the right focus at the right time
  • Spearhead the development and execution of diverse content and strategic campaigns that supports CBAM’s strategic priorities and aligns to HSBC’s How We Succeed plan. This will include acting as executive producer for major creative outputs, ensuring consistency, quality and impact
  • Ensure a high level of creative output that upholds brand integrity, quality, and tone of voice standards, while remaining impactful and aligned with our strategic objectives. It will also be important that the individual works in collaboration with Group External Communications and Group Brand to ensure synergistic ways of working
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Expert knowledge of producing of multimedia content in a business context
  • Expert project management skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders' needs and requirements, guiding and influencing them to adopt the most optimal communication strategies
  • Strong team player and network builder across a complex organisation and different geographies
  • A creative mind-set with strong technical communication skills

This role is based in London or Hong Kong, Hybrid.
