The Lead Architect will partner with key stakeholders to:
1. Define and deliver solutions platforms with tiered service levels whilst adopting Agile methods
2. Applying architectural risk management techniques and decision making principles to ensure that Digital delivery velocity is maintained without compromising architectural integrity
3. Seek to push forward Cloud and Software As A Service strategies to provide cost effective and future proofed solutions for Pinnacle
4. Ensure that savings & efficiency are delivered through reduced complexity and internal solutions
5. Enable effective regulatory, audit & security controls

The Opportunity: 
The role is comprised of:
-Solutions Architects aligned to key functional business areas or regional locations to manage and optimise the software solutions used, drive technical evolution & cost efficiencies and provide architectural designs aligning to enterprise strategies using Agile methods
-Infrastructure Architects to manage and optimise the portfolio of Digital infrastructure services used, driving operational improvement & cost efficiencies and providing cost effective infrastructure architecture & designs which align with over all technical strategy.
-Technical Architects aligned to key technology domains to manage the platforms, services and Cloud strategies, technical vendor engagement and product lifecycles.
-Data Architects responsible for ensuring that the data assets of the organization are supported by a data architecture that aids the organization in achieving its strategic goals.
-Security Architects ensure that through rapid delivery and increasing complex landscape, solutions adhere to security strategies and protect the organization’s reputation and data

What you’ll do: 
• Manage and govern HSBC’s Digital service offerings acting as the liaison between the all stakeholders responsible for delivery of Digital solutions using Agile methods
• Partner with HSBC’s business and developers in ensuring the possibilities afforded by the emergence of Cloud offerings are understood
• Advise on technical best practice for Digital solutions from software selection through to technical architectures and implementation processes
• Identify & evaluate 3rd party products (e.g. archiving, encryption, access management) which help fill gaps within the service offering
• Advise on design and development throughout iterations of delivery from a technical perspective
• Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use in designing the solution
• Document best practices, guidelines, and training information
• Provide thought leadership and practical experience in the design and testing of the Digital solutions 

What you will need to succeed in the role: 
•    A B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.S/MCA degree with over 14 years of IT experience.
•    Experience in delivering solutions in roles other than architecture.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Proficiency in communication, English, Cloud technologies, and General AI knowledge.
•    The ability to influence and champion new ideas and technical direction within the organization.
•    Excellent stakeholder management skills.
•    Awareness of Infrastructure Design and concepts, Integration concepts, techniques, and patterns.
•    Knowledge of Data modelling and Data Architecture concepts, APIs, and Messaging infrastructure and standards, with an understanding of security concepts and design
•    Enterprise Application integration
•    Cluster and parallel compute architectures
•    Programming in Java/ Java GUI, XML/ XSLT, HTML/ Java Script
•    Web applications servers (Apache HTTP Server & Tomcat, IIS, Websphere)
•    End to end agile infrastructure architecture across all layers
•    Passion for technology & understanding how things work
