The Opportunity:

We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Lead Business Analyst to join the Traded Risk IT team. In this role you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business users and development team. You will have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders, including market risk managers, project managers and IT developers, to identify and streamline end-to-end Market Risk business operating model and process, design and implement solutions that enhance our risk management capabilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact key decision-making processes and drive strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic banking environment. 

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with business users for requirement gathering, analysis, detailed requirement documentation and visualization
  •  Understand, streamline and optimize end-to-end business operating model and process, where appropriate, challenge business requirements and work with users to understand the real business problem statements
  •  Facilitate communication and collaboration among a variety of project stakeholders, including business users, project managers, architects and developers
  •  Perform detailed analysis of business processes and translate business requirements into user stories, specification documents, executable artefacts for development team
  •  Define test strategy, test cases, and acceptance criteria that can be used by development team
  •  Provide business and domain knowledge clarification to technical development team when needed
  • Support execution of user acceptance testing (UAT), conduct technical solution demo, and defects follow-up
  •  Work within the agile delivery team to contribute to continuous improvement within the e2e delivery in order to maximize quality and efficiency in IT project delivery
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Markets Risk Management, with detailed knowledge in financial market domain knowledge, especially on investment bank's products, market risk measures and management
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of market risk-related concepts, including VAR, stress testing, historical simulation, and Market Risk Limits.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to synthesize complex information into clear, concise requirements
  •  Familiar with visualization tools for analysis, communication, and solution proposal
  • Strong communication skills, stakeholder management and negotiation skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies; experience with JIRA or other project management tools

 

What additional skills will be good to have?

  •  Experience in data analysis and tools such as SQL, Microsoft Excel, VBA, or similar will be a plus
