The Opportunity:
- We are seeking a Learning and Talent HR Solution Design Delivery to partner with our Business and IT teams to drive the delivery of architecture projects and solutions for Learning and Talent and ensure that solutions are designed and delivered in line with our design and architecture principles and HSBC Change standards, this is inclusive of technology, data, and process.
- The role holder will work closely with the Learning and Talent Leadership, HR IT, HR Architecture teams and relevant suppliers to drive innovation, connectivity, and compliance across skills landscape, underpinned by technology and data architectural designs, maximizing the use of our core platforms, and ensuring alignment to the business outcomes and priorities.
What you’ll do: - Collaborating on and maintaining the Learning and Talent Architecture (including LMS, Degreed and Gloat and SuccessFactors), aligned to the Learning and Talent strategy, which is aligned with HR’s Future State Architecture.
- Embedding HR Service Design principles, which encapsulate the goals of the HR functional strategy, and its current implementation.
- This is inclusive of process architecture (supported by GSO teams)
- Compliance to the HR Transformation Change Governance and Data Governance
- Coordinate with Strategic counterpart, the GSOs, other HR and HR IT stakeholders to ensure new and changed solutions, are optimal, implications are fully understood, and have been appropriately impact assessed, and any necessary mitigation is carried out before deployment
- Ensure any innovative solutions are optimal and consider full impacts are assessed, understood, and mitigated before deployment
- Facilitating the SaaS vendors systems releases, ensuring items are reviewed against the business backlog and priorities and implemented effective prioritized with the GSO and IT community to issue fully alignment with strategy and /or operational or functional issue resolution. Contribution towards influencing innovation and development: maintain strong relationships with vendor strategic suppliers to HSBC, with the objective of informing, and influencing product strategies such that they are aligned and in the interest of HSBC
- Responsible for pro-actively identifying areas of opportunity that are aligned with the HR strategy, leveraging enabling technologies and in service design, drive learning engagement and enable HSBC to be net skill creator
What you will need to succeed in the role:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in business architecture, process analysis, or a related role within the learning and talent management domain.
- Working in a Global environment, with familiarity of standard HR Service Delivery Model, Service Management, Change Management and HR Transformation Changes.
- Strong understanding of learning and talent management systems and applications (SuccessFactors, Service Now and Degreed preferred).
- Proficiency in process mapping and data flow analysis tools.
- Experience with central governance frameworks and practices.
- Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to act as liaison conveying information in suitably accurate models (e.g. business requirements, data constraints, business rules, etc.) between HR and IT
- Ability to work under pressure and navigate in a matrix environment with conflicting demands.
- Sound judgmental skills to identify and resolve challenges and issues.
- Ability to make considered decisions that protect and enhance HSBC’s values, reputation and commercial interests.
