CIB D&A has become a one-stop shop for the CIB D&A section of the group’s analytic needs leading the integration of analytics and data-driven decisions not only in traditional areas such as CIB D&A & Commercial Banking but also in new domains such as Regulatory, Operations, Procurement, Credit & Lending, IT Infrastructure, and Financial Crime Risk. It provides support to various business groups and the job involves data analysis, model and strategy development & implementation, Business Intelligence, reporting and data management and analysis.
  • The team based out of multiple locations across the GSCs (India/China/Mexico/Poland) providing analytics, data & insight support to various CIB D&A, CMB/ GB portfolios. Team’s focus is on using logical thought process and relevant statistical techniques and right tools & techniques & productize scaled solutions to analyse product portfolio metrics and risk behaviour to arrive at value-based optimum decisions.
    The Opportunity: 
  • A person adept with data analysis techniques is required for the job. The role typically requires a combination of analytical, technical, and communication skills, along with a strong understanding of marketing principles and data analysis tools. Key requirements include proficiency in data analysis, statistical analysis, and data visualization, along with experience in relevant software and platforms. Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills are also crucial for effectively conveying insights and collaborating with stakeholders
    What you’ll do: 
    Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • The candidate is expected to perform marketing performance analytics, specially focus on marketing events (online & Offline)
  • Creating and maintaining end to end marketing dashboards to track the performance of digital marketing channels
  • The role also requires the person to understand the data thoroughly and draw business insights which needs to be shared with various business stakeholders for informed decision making/process improvement.
  • Facilitate and manage regular meetings with senior managers, key stakeholders, subject matter experts and delivery partners to reach targeted milestones on time.
  • The candidate needs to be really flexible in their approach and to be ready to understand ever changing business scenarios and cater to the dynamic requirements in a smart and prompt manner
  • Driving automation efforts across multiple reports/processes, understanding the gap in the process and eventually driving a project to move away from tactical solutions and adopt more strategic way of delivering reports and insights.
  • Adherence to controls and governance is must while dealing with the data.
  • The candidate must understand the basic risks arising from managing sensitive banking data and act accordingly to manage the risks in their everyday life at work.
  • Completion of mandatory trainings on time and be self-motivated to take up ample training opportunities the bank provides to upskill oneself for future of work.
  • The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
    Leadership & Teamwork  
  • The person is expected to have good attitude of a team player, working with a mixed cultural team across the globe.
  • The role may require one to liaise with different stakeholders – business teams, business analysts, product owners, data engineers, platform developers etc.
  • For Manager role – the person should demonstrate leadership qualities in terms of bringing the junior members up the learning curve and handholding them whenever necessary
  • We believe the leadership is not only for the senior roles, but it starts from the junior most levels. DAs and Senior DAs should also demonstrate their leadership qualities by taking self-motivated initiatives, participation in engagement and strategic activities, being associated with various committees and speaking up
  • Working with an Agile mindset, using regular project management tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub etc. to share updates and remaining on top of the work
  • One must display good stakeholder management and collaboration skills
     
Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role: 
Functional Knowledge

  • Exposure to Marketing data, Marketing analytics & Digital analytics
  • Familiarity with Digital marketing tools like CM360
  • Familiarity with analytic systems with SQL, PySpark and Python skills. 
  • Exposure to Bigdata and Hadoop data lake is a big plus
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like GCP
  • Expertise in visualization tools like Qliksense
  • Knowledge about BFSI domain is good to have
  • Prior project management experience with knowledge of Agile methodology and exposure to project management tools like Jira, Confluence,
  • GITHUB is a plus
