  • The Individual will have regular interactions with the Region COO, Global COO and Regional Finance teams. Also need to co-ordinate with Central Functional team and will call for his/her expertise on cost drivers and analysis. The interaction will extend to multiple support teams including Global Business. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team.

What you’ll do:

  • The Global Risk & Compliance Finance team is responsible for all aspects of financial analysis, insight and advisory related to Costs/FTEs.  This includes the delivery of decision-useful managing information on a regular basis, production of report and financial forecasting and Annual planning. The role holder will support on all these activities, producing quantitative and qualitative analysis to support business decision making and will have regular engagement with senior management in both Finance and COO teams. The role holder will be expected to understand and explain the drivers of the variances and provide related analysis and robust business driven commentary, identify and report on concerns, opportunities and underlying reasons behind performance.
  • Beyond these core responsibilities, the role will also support various ad-hoc projects and analysis, working closely with the regional COO, Regional Finance and senior leadership in Risk & Compliance.  These projects will include value-hunting using digital data and analytics tools as well as automation and streamlining projects being conducted by the finance function to bring synergies to routine processes including the multi-year “Finance on The Cloud” transformation and automation programs.
  • Key responsibility includes supporting Global Functions at group level. Track the monthly performance of Global Function for Forecast and Actuals.
  • Preparing Monthly ExCo Cost & FTE presentations with accurate financials and value adding commentaries
  • Monthly analysis of actuals along with comparison with Target, Forecast and prior year and provide meaningful commentary including business drivers
  • Ensure the data integrity & governance check of data flow into TM1 for Target / Forecast / FRP / Budget / Actuals
  • Managing annual FRP process including business rationalization & discussion to align TDG / Bottom-up
  • Review & post journals for Direct Cost, FTE, Intercompany including HGMS/GSC/ServCo Charges
  • Prepare allocation metrics through CDT tool & analyze charges to Global Business and maintaining robust insight and provide business drivers.
  • Analyzing, investigating, and explaining key movements and trends in major P&L lines. Work with regions to understand the drivers behind variances between Forecast/ Actuals to Target.
  • Review Global Functions Framework changes, related UAT and ensuring implementation
  • Complete ad-hoc requests quickly but also be able to prioritize these requests
  • Change Governance - Evaluate the impact of proposed changes to the Group Cost
  • Ensure operational efficiency and improved productivity, utilizing where possible, process improvement methodologies.
  • Role requires driving process efficiencies through working with cross functional teams and engaging them in driving agenda and/or agreed solution to ground level
  • Ensuring robust governance and adherence to group wide policies and procedures.
  • All EUC assessment, Governance of SOPs, back-up plan, training & back-up planning

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • B. Com / M. Com/ CA(Inter)/ CWA (Inter), CA/CWA/MBA: 8+ years
  • Strong working knowledge of Financial Systems is key (i.e. TM1)
  • Sound understanding of Intercompany charges including HGMS, GSC, ServCo, Inter/Intra Region
  • Experience in Financial Reporting, analysis, Planning, Financial Statements and Audit/Compliance
  • Ability to plan, lead and implement change to Business Frameworks
  • Ability to understand, map and change reporting process-flows
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of excellent stakeholder management, working effectively across teams and problem solving
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities
  • Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • Ability to bring analytical rigor and structure and effective solutions to poorly defined problems
  • Strong communication skills – applicable through multiple channels (written, spoken, workshops, presentations)
  • Knowledge of automation tools

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Knowledge of Python, C, Qlik will have added advantage
