We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Merchant Growth Manager, PayMe.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Lead the growth of PayMe ecosystem through executing external third-party partnership, including but not limited to payment acquiring networks with proactive partnership strategy
  • Manage all aspects of the partnership with payment networks, including prioritization of key focus areas, structuring/negotiation of new initiatives particularly opening acceptance of new merchant categories and ongoing partnership management
  • Propose, discuss and set commercial targets with merchant acquirers, platform partners and manage the corresponding commercial engagement to ensure objectives are delivered as expected as part of the annual plan
  • Set and execute PayMe’s strategic merchant growth goals and positioning across key market segments
  • Identify underlying strategically valuable merchants
  • Explore new Acquirers, platform partners and POS integrators and define the corresponding action plan on merchant acquisition
  • Onboard potential acquirers and assist with proceeding third-party KYC & due diligence
  • Manage Acquirers, platform partners relationship through regular governance or engagement forums
  • Drive P2M sales via managing existing Acquirers to expand merchant network via new merchant acquisitions
  • Work with Acquirers on the Merchant Customer Life Cycle Management (CLCM) related ongoing initiatives (all channels merchants' acquisition, activation, relationship deepening and retention): Performance monitoring, implementation of new initiatives, tracking & reporting
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Finance, or relevant field
  • 5 years or above working experience in business development roles, preferably in merchant payments
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and execution mindset with the ability to dive into details and collaborate across teams
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives in a timely manner
  • Good understanding of the payments industry and market landscape
  • Goal-oriented with professional working integrity and responsibility, hands on and able to multitask in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Understanding of agile principles and methodologies
  • Outstanding writing and verbal communications skills in English and Cantonese are required
  • Excellent time management, presentation, organizational and problem-solving
