The Opportunity:

  • The Planning & Analysis Senior Associate reports into the Operations Headcount & Planning Lead within Global Operations Ops Delivery & Strategy team leading the cost management and financial governance across the function. This will require close collaboration with Global / Regional Business Managers, Finance and Procurement. The role will organize and support deliverables during key monthly / annual financial cycles, act as central planning support for Business Management community on matters relating to costs and enable maintenance and improvement of tools to streamline Cost MI relevant to Business Services.
  • Ensure effective planning and management of onshore/offshore resources and/or systems, across multiple sites - to meet service levels and agreed staffing ratios. This includes the planning of long/short-term Full-time Employee /Non-Full time Employee requirements.

What you’ll do:

  • Organize and control deliverables required during financial cycles, including Strategic Planning and Monthly Performance
  • Run the monthly financial forecasting process requiring extensive collaboration with Business Managers and introducing insight analysis to performance review.
  • Lead the streamlining and implementation of non-staff cost governance process including resource augmentation, fixed assets, other third party spend.
  • Work closely with Business Managers, Headcount Management and Process Improvement teams to ensure financial data quality across key platform.
  • Manage strong engagement with Finance, Procurement to ensure Operations financial governance is in sync with central guidelines and policies.
  • Responsible for inputs required for executive reporting and key governance meetings (EXCO, Operations Management Committee, DA)
  • Deliver to Bank Wide Operations objectives, by driving the engagement to improve, scale and deploy Ops financial planning solutions.
  • Direct managerial responsibility for all Cost related activities in Global Ops.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • Strong financial background and proven ability in financial / analytical reasoning, including excellent MS Excel skills and advanced financial modelling capability, and being able to navigate through various data sets and articulate underlying business rationale in a concise manner.
  • Experience in budget management (staff and third party spend), with good understanding of Procurement/HR requisitioning process.
  • Proven financial & headcount planning and service management skills and experience across multiple sites.
  • Excellent understanding of large complex operations management e.g. workforce management tools, planning methodology, data analysis, forecasting, reporting etc.
  • Excellent organization skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong relationship management, collaboration skills, with excellent decision making and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in agile environment with drive and openness to change with proven judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems.
  • Ability to coordinate a wide variety of solutions, bringing a breadth of experience to the business, seeing the wider implications at all stages.
