Within International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB), we serve 41 million customers globally, including 6.7 million who are international, from retail customers to ultra high net worth individuals and their families. We help our customers to take care of their day-to-day finances and to manage, protect and grow their wealth. Our key areas of operations include Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Asset Management and Global Private Banking.

In this 12 Month Secondment Barangaroo based role, you will be responsible for assisting all Premier Qualified customers with their financial needs in the centralized environment. It is based in a Premier Connect /Voice environment mostly dealing with clients over the phone. 

Your main responsibilities will include:
 

  • Contribute to the growth of primary banking relationship for qualified Premier customers. 
  • Complete regular reviews with Premier Customers to understand their current and long term needs and advise them on the products and services that help them achieve their goals.
  • Enhance clients trust in HSBC's capability of meeting their needs and support IWPB Growth objective and encourage primary banking relationship.
  • Build a high personal and corporate brand across IWPB in which you are based.  
  • Contribute to the value of new borrowing for Premier Segment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in customer excellence gained in banking as a Client Relationship Manager, Officer or Executive gained with the retail financial services sector.
  • The desire to develop your financial expertise and grow your career.
  • Ability to understand and provide solutions to meet individual customer needs by delivering first-class customer service and making a difference.
  • Proven track of record in growing customer portfolios and a diverse range of high net worth customer portfolios.
  • Higher School Certificate completion is essential and relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.



    Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
