We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Premier Insurance Specialist.

Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will

  • Conduct Portfolio Reviews with Relationship Managers, assess product suitability and market and regulatory change impact to products held by clients as appropriate, identify opportunities and manage risks
  • Improve Relationship Managers’ product specific technical knowledge by effective on-job coaching and training
  • Join Relationship Managers' in meeting clients and providing technical advice and input based on technical knowledge
  • Collect and apply market and channel intelligence to identify and share product competitive gaps, service issues, business opportunities, and challenges with stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance and support to Relationship Managers' , sharing knowledge and encouraging others to do the same
  • Liaise between stakeholders and leadership teams on training and leads programs/initiatives
  • Provide support to Relationship Managers' on increasing and capturing cross sell opportunities
  • Deliver fair outcomes to HSBC Singapore clients and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operations of financial markets
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • An accredited Degree/Diploma Holder
  • You should have advance experience relevant as Insurance/Bancassurance Specialist experience, especially in high net-worth products such as Universal Life and have strong knowledge of the investment climate to provide sound advice in wealth accumulation, legacy planning, and premium financing
  • You should be mature, confident and possesses strong presentation and pitching skills to hold an effective client conversation with Relationship Managers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across the various team members and internal stakeholders
  • Have strong passion in training and coaching of insurance products, concept, and sales with Relationship Managers
  • Possess relevant CMFAS accreditation and RNF licensed

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
