We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Product Manager – Cards Acquisition. You will support the Senior Product Manager in delivering Credit card acquisition commercial enhancements, working across brands (HSBC, first direct and M&S) and channels (Digital, Network and UKCC), working on GBP 7bn Personal Loans and GBP 7bn Credit Card portfolios and support over 7million customers with their lending needs.

In this role you will:
⦁ Support delivery of key risk initiatives to improve accept rates and booked volumes & Support delivery of £1.5m in identified opportunities to aid FRP 2024
⦁ Work with a wide range of stakeholders including wider Banking and Propositions colleagues, Marketing, Digital, Distribution, Risk, Finance, CRM & Analytics, Compliance, Legal, IT and Transformation
⦁ Support with the development and delivery of the Unsecured Lending Strategy and Annual Operating Plans.
⦁ Track, analyse and report on Portfolio Activity - Monitoring and reviewing product performance to meet business requirements and make recommendations, taking appropriate action to enhance where possible. Creation/Manipulation/Interpretation of data and analysis to support the right business outcomes
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Must be highly numeric with experience of working with large datasets to make commercial recommendations.
• Advanced excel skills, including macros and writing VBA’s
• An understanding of the Retail Banking and its products, services and stakeholders
• Experience and understanding of P&L is essential
• Ability to work effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation
This is a hybrid role to be based in Leeds, Birmingham, Sheffield or Chester.
