HSBC’s Global Payments Solutions (GPS) serves as a core service provider to Global Banking and Markets (GB&M) and Commercial Banking (CMB) customers. We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our GPS sales team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets as well as maintain and enhance revenue streams by identifying and selling innovative GPS solutions to a defined portfolio of clients thus maximizing commercial profitability and relationship depth. This will include contributing to the pricing, reviewing and negotiating the full range of cash management services together with effecting any cost reduction initiatives required by the Bank.

In this role, you will:

•    Act as the focal point of contact for relationship enhancement of GPS Top Tier customers covering multiple geographies and are complex.
•    Provide regional and domestic client service; manages and grows the cash management relationships; ensures client satisfaction and acts as primary contact of GPS to customers.
•    Facilitate discussions externally with clients at senior levels and internally in the bank with Treasury, IT, and NSC for payment processing and query resolution and fixing recurring issues 
•    Maximize GPS revenue by account planning, cross selling, deepening wallet share and increasing stickiness
•    Manage the provision of GPS service to customers on a domestic and regional basis. 
•    Ensure identifying and referring cross selling opportunities for the GPS product suite
•    Continually reassess the key risks inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices
•    Manage the servicing of the Bank’s payment servicing proposition reducing operational costs/losses by improving the level of STP through appropriate advice and guidance


Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Knowledge / Experience

•    Graduation Degree is mandatory - to obtain UAE Visa and Work Permit
•    University degree and relevant professional qualifications (Cert ICM / CTP).
•    In-depth experience working in the commercial banking industry.
•    Excellent knowledge and direct experience of service provision and how customer service impacts client perception. 
•    In-depth knowledge of industry standards related to all Cash Management products and services.
•    Excellent communicator and stakeholder management
•    Diligent, not afraid to get into the detail
•    Self-starter, highly motivated and determined
•    Excellent time management, planning and organization skills
•    Under the New Labour Law, only fixed term contracts shall be available to all employees of HSBC UAE (except DIFC and ADGM employees) – hence in line with the term of work permit, a 4 years’ contract would be issued.
