We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Business Development Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Need to have a critical view of the Expat performance, competitor landscape and emerging market trends
  • In the face of fierce competition, the bank seeks to grow income from the EXPAT segment through pursuit of excellent service, recognition of value and cross selling products and services appropriate to customer needs. This will improve profile within communities and build economic value for the bank and our shareholders
  • The range of competitors and products has created an increased financial awareness in clients, creating a need for our best products to be put to our best current and prospective clients
  • The Expat proposition that we have available need to be delivered consistently and effectively across markets in order to fully realise our competitive advantage in a highly challenging environment. The role holder has responsibility for delivery in this context
  • Contribute to market leadership through co creation of a stronger and unique/differentiated Expat value Strategy
  • Be expected to challenge the status quo and adopt an agile and flexible approach to work and deliver results
  • The critical responsibility is to deliver a consistent approach for specifics clients taking into account unique market circumstances and maturity and then any variations in model based on regulatory and compliance considerations
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Solid years of experience in retail/corporate banking
  • Solid business development and client relationship management experience
  • Very strong knowledge of the external environment with expertise in International including regulatory, political, economic, and competitors
  • Proven experience of identification of opportunities and challenges and formulating recommendations to support ongoing client growth strategies
  • Experienced in working with partners across the business to understand customer needs, establish acquisition/marketing strategies (across Retail/Wealth products) and secure buy in to drive growth/engagement
  • Highly effective communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to operate effectively in a complex matrix driven environment
  • Able to influence, engage and lead in a positive, inspiring manner
