We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist, focusing on IT infrastructure support.

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting various key infrastructure component for Macau Technology. You will take up the responsibility to support various infrastructure within Macau Technology estate, mainly on Linux and Windows server, collaborate across the region and even global experts. We also hope to grow this role as future leader to take up wider responsibility for entire Macau IT infrastructure.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain the high quality of service and deliverable for the business needed. Assist with evergreen of hardware and software within the local data centres, and support on new system deployments within agreed time lines.

  • Incident management and escalate to key stakeholders, provide quick response on immediate recovery.

  • Schedule and deliver system solutions in accordance with relevant business requirements.

  • Support for Linux server and windows Server deployments. OS security and local vulnerability Patching. Manage incidents, problems and change. Continuously monitoring of capacity.

  • Work closely with system engineers and service providers, to ensure the service delivery can meet the timeline, and quality objectives in alignment with business strategy. Provide proactive consultancy to business users, help business to capture revenue growth, improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

  • Good understanding principle of ITSM on incident / change and problem management.

Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

  • Minimum 6 – 8 years of system engineer experience, preferable in financial industry.

  • Strong track record in collaborating with relevant business units and service providers in IT service delivery.

  • Good understanding on the ITIL, SLA, OLA and IT Cyber Security.

  • Strong incident analyst and problem-solving skill.

  • Capable to manage communications effectively including the capacity to articulate technical solutions for business’ understanding.

  • Strong team spirit, quality oriented and attentive to details.

  • Non-office hour and weekend support may require for handle incident and planned change.

  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese.

  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Linux server support, windows server administration.

  • Infrastructure network support knowledge.

  • Understanding of ITSM on incident, change and problem management.

  • RHCE certificate would be preferrable.
