Forecasting and financial planning is crucial in helping HSBC to project future financial performance, communicate our financial outlook to stakeholders, and make informed decisions around strategy and financial resource allocation. The F4 (Future Fit Forecasting and FRP) programme is a multi-year transformation programme that has been established to address the recurring pain points finance experience during the annual financial planning process, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Forecasting and FRP and deliver long term benefits in support of our Global Finance Strategy. The Target state will deliver more robust forecasts in more timely manner and a lower cost to the bank and deliver significant benefits.

The Opportunity:

  • Join with excellent team to build modernized application structure and overall ways of working to accelerate transformation to product-oriented program.
  • Work as a trusted advisor to influence the team on transformation strategy and support the strategy implementation.
  • Engage with business and operation teams, support value stream alignment within the organization.
  • Define and implement measurement to provide accurate visualization on team's delivery values.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for Requirements Management, Design, Change Management and Implementation Management.
  • Work collaboratively with delivery partners and subject matter experts in gathering, translating and clarifying requirements and defining design options.
  • The Business Analyst’s Change Management activities span from early change planning and audience analysis; through to designing and delivering change interventions (e.g. communications, training, support, organisation alignment); and tracking and taking actions on change readiness, adoption, and feedback.
  • Establish effective communication channels and coordinate implementation with Finance Change teams in each of the countries within finance business lines.
  • Business Analysts will often lead design workstreams or teams, managing other analysts, SMEs and resources from our delivery partners.
Requirements
  • Good understanding of Global Transformation Business Transformation Frameworks, Agile methodologies and best practice techniques.
  • A thorough understanding of the purpose, values, culture and fundamentals of Global Transformation.
  • Outstanding understanding of HSBC Group structures, processes and objectives.
  • Very strong knowledge of the compliance / regulatory / banking area knowledge.
  • Business analysis, requirements gathering and design techniques.
  • Change management and implementation management techniques and approaches.
  • Proven track record as an outstanding analyst, consultant and/or project manager.
  • Overall financial services industry knowledge with specific functional expertise in finance, stress testing , forecasting or accounting, preferably in the finance industry.
  • Extensive experience gathering requirements and conducting design activity, with a mix of business, operations and technology focused projects.
  • Exposure to business case development and a sound understanding of how design enablers underpin business benefits.
  • Strong experience of delivering change into different audiences.
  • Effective communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent decision making and problem solving ability.
  • With good skills to identify and resolve problems.
  • Proven ability to work across regions whilst maintaining a global perspective.
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Strong experience to translate the business requirement into design and workout the technical specification and align with the development team.
