We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Personal Banking and CLCM.

Principal Responsibilities

Personal Banking in HK owns over 5m mass customer base, covering the HSBC One proposition with strategic intent to grow the Millennial / Gen Z segment to propel customer continuum growth to the next level. At Personal Banking, we are also responsible to drive seamless mass digital capabilities from client onboarding to ongoing account management and loyalty building capabilities. 

In this role you will

The role is critical to the success of the team in following key aspects

  • Lead customer acquisition & portfolio growth initiatives to achieve targets and expected business outcomes
  • Develop and strengthen customer propositions across mass retail, young and emerging affluent segments through customer insights in establishing HSBC One as the brand of choice for Millennials/Gen Z and Mass Retail customers
  • Drive proposition-led campaigns based on analytics insights, customer characteristics and customer needs, and design and develop digital onboarding journey from account opening to activation
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business units, distribution and functions ensure the proposition is properly delivered to customers with most optimal approach
  • Develop an expert knowledge of customer base, market trends, and competitor activities for the support of strategic direction
  • Support special projects in relation to Personal Banking proposition enhancement
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Experience in retail banking proposition, segment marketing, customer acquisition with in-depth understanding and experience in the financial or banking sector, leadership /management experience required
  • University degree or relevant post graduate qualification. Advance degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus
  • Strong business acumen with advanced strategic planning and project management skills and a hands-on approach to drive improvement and resolve problems
  • Proven record in strategy formulation and execution on mass retail banking business with strong understanding of customer behaviours and needs related to banking and wealth
  • Excellent understanding of Wealth & Personal Banking strategic imperatives and being able to translate them into business objectives and policies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders across businesses and functions with ability to influence senior teams
