The Senior Manager, Financial Crime Risk Analysis & Discovery will be reporting into the Head of RAD. The successful candidate will have a particular focus on helping deliver against bespoke requirements set by the Group Money Laundering Reporting Officer (GMLRO) and will play a critical role in the effective operation of Financial Crime’s emerging risk programme.

In this role you will:
 
•    Successfully deliver thorough emerging risk assessments and analysis that support GMLRO, Risk and Compliance ERF and annual MLRO reporting. Assessments will articulate the strategic financial crime implications of geopolitical, macroeconomic, technological or regulatory developments globally.
•    Deliver high quality analytical insights that use the full range of data science, analytics and research capability offered by the RAD programme (Group, Region and CoE).
•    Drive continuous improvement of this capability from project inception, through analytical scoping, data acquisition, analysis and research, production, through to the delivery of a final analytical output.
•    Build and maintains effective partnerships to drive and accelerate the execution of financial crime risk management activities delivered by RAD including close liaison across the RAD leadership, other Financial Crime CoE capabilities and the wider Financial Crime function.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
 
•    Must have prior experience in Financial Crime with additional experience providing insights on the financial crime implications of macroeconomic and geopolitical trends.
•    Demonstrable experience in communication and influencing skills, with experience of dealing with executives at all levels including the capacity to articulate the case for risk management in the language of business
•    Ability to draft sophisticated written analysis and briefing materials, and to brief those findings with impact and credibility
•    Thorough ability to interpret and analyse a large volume of information and / or data and provide succinct summary for senior management
•    Ability to prioritise conflicting demands and problem solve in a dynamic environment
 
This role is based in UK / Hybrid.
